One of my favorite things to add to my scrapbooks is stickers! I love them but they can get expensive pretty quickly, so if you're looking for a cheap alternative, this is it. I also had such a good time designing my stickers. If you'd like to use the stickers I made, I have linked a download to the files.
What you'll need:
Designs printed on regular white printer paper (nothing fancy!)
Packaging tape
Scissors
Water
First print out the design that you want for a sticker. Make sure that your designs will fit inside the tape. I made my designs no larger than 1.5 inches on one side and I had a little wiggle room within the tape.
Cut out the design that you need.
After I cut out my design, I added a piece of tape over top and then cut as close to the edges as I could.
Place your sticker in the bowl of water. It doesn't have to soak long, just until you can see the water has soaked through the paper completely.
Slowly rub the paper side of the sticker until the paper starts rubbing off. I dipped the sticker back in the water periodically to get the shreds of paper off.
After all of the paper is rubbed off, you are left with a cute, transparent sticker!
